In January of 2017, The East Valley Water District (EVWD) redesigned the onsight demo native plant garden. A colorful array of drought-tolerant flora and recycled ground materials suitable for water conservation; in addition, the garden highlights the benefits of drought-tolerant landscaping versus grass.
Likewise, just in time to accompany Spring, the staff at the EVWD recently installed identification nameplates too to complete the garden. Lastly, the I.D.’s serve to give community visitors the opportunity to write down the names of their favorite plants.
Demonstration Garden tours are encouraged.
